Bowling Green, KY – Austin Peay State University men’s golf team finished 11th, Tuesday, at the WKU Kenny Perry Invitational, played at The Club at Olde Stone.
The Governors fired a final-round 319 to finish at 933 in the three-round event.
Arkansas State won the event with an 892, followed by Memphis (895) and Tennessee Tech (898).Tuesday’s final round saw only sophomore Justin Arens (78) and junior Erik Hedberg (79) break 80. Seniors Austin Kramer (80), Chris Baker (82) and Tyler Phillips (82) all struggled during the day that saw the Govs collect just six birdies as opposed to six double bogeys.
Kramer was APSU’s best finisher during the three-round event, his 231 leaving him in a 31st-place tie.
