Clarksville Police arrest Zackery Alexander for murder of 2-year-old Joseph Bankston

 

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – On October 4th, 2015, an unknown person entered a Princeton Drive home shooting Brandon Jimenez several times and intentionally shooting and killing 2-year-old Joseph Bankston.

Since the incident, members of the Clarksville Police Department’s Special Operations Homicide Unit have pursued numerous leads and tips from the public and submitted evidence collected at the scene.

The Lady Govs (6-7, 2-3 OVC) have an opportunity to gain ground in the standings from their current sixth-place position, with this week’s opponents ranked second and third, respectively.

Tennessee Governor Bill Haslam issues reward in Clarksville Murder Case

 

2-year-old Joseph Bankston was killed October 4th

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – On October 4th, 2015, an unknown person entered a Princeton Drive home shooting Brandon Jiminez several times and intentionally shooting and killing 2-year-old Joseph Bankston.

Yesterday District Attorney John Carney contacted Governor Haslam’s office and requested a reward be issued for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for this murder. Governor Bill Haslam immediately issued a reward in the amount of $15,000.00.

That was announced Wednesday by the league office.

Clarksville Police request public assistance locating runaway Ricarlos Brantley

 

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – Clarksville Police Detective Channing Bartel from the Clarksville Police Department is searching for a runaway juvenile.

The runaway juvenile is 17-year-old Ricarlos Brantley from Clarksville. Ricarlos ran away on October 10th, 2015 at night.

He does have a history of running away.

ClarksVillain Roller Girls play final game themed “The Skating Dead” Saturday, October 17th

 

Clarksvillain Roller GirlsClarksville, TN – The ClarksVillain Roller Girls final game of the season is Saturday, October 17th at the Clarksville Speedway. The zombie-themed bout starts at 7:00pm, and doors open at 6:00pm.

There will be a live band at halftime and a zombie costume contest. So, arrive dressed to impress (the zombie judges, that is) and get there early for good seats!

After a great season putting new skills to the test, adding new members, and taking on new teams in the region the girls are excited to play the Southern Illinois Roller Girls in their final bout of the season.
