Clarksville Parks and Recreation’s safe trick-or-treating “One Frightful Night” to be held Saturday in Downtown Clarksville

Clarksville Parks and Recreation DepartmentClarksville, TN – The Clarksville Parks and Recreation Department, Altra Federal Credit Union and the downtown businesses have combined forces for this year’s One Frightful Night, also known as Fright on Franklin on Saturday, October 31st from 3:00pm to 6:00pm.

One Frightful Night is a free, family-friendly event featuring safe trick-or-treating, costume contests, and much more in Historic Downtown Clarksville! Follow the screams (of delight) to an afternoon of frightening-ly fun Halloween-themed activities.

Scheduled Activities

Halloween Treats
Visit trick-or-treat stations provided by local businesses throughout the lower parking lot of City Hall. Treats vary from candy to small toys. (May contain small parts.)

Costume Contest
Show off your costume on the Stage Fright Stage, located at the upper parking lot of City Hall. Prizes will be awarded for “Best Costume” in each age group and “Best Group.” Pre-registration is required. Only a few spots remain, register online at www.cityofclarksville.com/fright

Ghoulish Games
Try your hand at Halloween games at the Roxy Regional Theatre, Binks, and Rogates Boutique to win treats. Don’t miss Mildred and Mable’s interactive I-Spy window!

Arts and Crafts
Create Halloween-themed works of art at Couture Crush, the Customs House Museum, Horsefeathers and the Downtown Artists Co-Op. Have Sam the Balloon Man create your favorite balloon art at Edwards Steakhouse.

Photo Opportunities
Snap a photo or two at the Roxy and the Clarksville Parks and Recreation booth. Visit Grumpy’s Bails bonds for photos with a Professional Wrestler!

Food and Drink

Purchase Halloween-inspired menu items from Hops Java and Juice, Section 125, and F&M Bank.

Road Closures and Weather

Streets will be blocked off on Saturday, October 31st from Public Square to Second Street and from Franklin Street to Main Street. Public parking is available at the public parking garage.

The event will go on rain or shine. However, should the weather become extreme, we will have to cancel the event for the safety of our vendors and guests. There will not be a rain date for this event.
