Cookeville, TN – In a tale of two halves, Austin Peay State University’s second half against Tennessee Tech mirrored all-too-well the 2015 regular season as a whole, with the Govs falling 42-24 at Tucker Stadium to wrap up the 2015 season.
Clarksville, TN – On Saturday, November 14th, Clarksville Parks and Recreation held their 4th annual Handmade Holidays event from 9:00am until 4:00pm at the Wilma Rudolph Event Center at Liberty Park. The event continues tomorrow, Sunday, November 15th, from 12:00pm until 4:00pm.
Handmade Holidays opened to a large crowd of shoppers all looking for that special gift for Christmas as well as decorations for the holidays.

Clarksville, TN – Junior Sammie Ebright posted a double-double as Austin Peay State University’s volleyball team gave its three seniors a win in their final match, downing Eastern Kentucky in three sets (26-24, 25-17, 25-15) in a Saturday Ohio Valley Conference match.
Clarksville, TN – On November 14th, 2015 at about 2:54am, 28-year-old Derrick Bradford Jr from Clarksville was driving a 2012 Chrysler Sebring passenger car east bound on 101st Airborne Division Parkway. The Sebring was struck from behind by a 2014 GMC Sierra pickup truck being driven by 26-year-old Jacob Clark, a Fort Campbell soldier.
The collision caused the pickup truck to override the Sebring, and push it through the intersection. Roshawnda Dolson, 28-year-old from Clarksville, was a passenger in the Sebring and was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Clarksville, TN – Clarksville Police Officers responded to a traffic crash on 101st Airborne Division Parkway at the Trenton Road Intersection around 2:43am. Travelers had to avoid this area until it was cleaned up.
One vehicle occupied by one person, the driver, struck another vehicle occupied by two people. In the first vehicle occupied by one, the driver was transported to Gateway Medical Center with minor injuries.
Clarksville Parks and Recreation now expecting entries for 56th Annual Clarksville Lighted Christmas Parade
Clarksville, TN – Be a part of a Clarksville tradition by participating in this year’s annual Christmas parade, hosted by the City of Clarksville and Montgomery County Government.
This night-time, lighted Christmas parade, is scheduled for Saturday, December 5th beginning at 5:00pm in Downtown Clarksville.

For Thanksgiving, the Smokehaus at the Sportsman’s Lodge is offering a feast for six that includes a 10-12 pound smoked turkey, 24 ounces of mashed potatoes, 24 ounces of green beans, 24 ounces of cornbread dressing, 24 ounces of gravy, 16 ounces of cranberry relish and 12 dinner rolls.
The menu is the same for Christmas but you get to choose between the smoked turkey or 4 pounds of sliced smoked ham. You can also pick and choose your items and order ala carte.
Clarksville, TN – A year ago, David Locke, president of Austin Peay State University’s Interfraternity Council (IFC), decided to give up on haircuts. He stayed pretty faithful to his oath, getting only a few trim-ups in the last 12 months to keep things neat, and his dark mane now reaches almost to his shoulders.
Around noon on November 19th, Locke will sit in the middle of the APSU University Center Plaza and let a stylist with Sports Clips shear off all his hair.
Montgomery County, TN – West Creek High School and Kenwood High School choirs will combine to present a choral concert at Madison Street United Methodist Church in Clarksville on Friday November 20th at 7:00pm. Admission is free.
The concert will include both choirs performing several pieces by themselves as well as several combined choir pieces with full orchestra. Come out and enjoy a great night of wonderful choral music.

Tennessee Titans (2-6) vs. Carolina Panthers (8-0)

Nashville, TN – The Tennessee Titans (2-6) return to Nissan Stadium this week to face the undefeated Carolina Panthers (8-0). Kickoff at Nissan Stadium (capacity 69,143) is scheduled for noon CST on Sunday, November 15th.
This week’s game will be televised regionally on FOX, including Nashville affiliate WZTV FOX 17. Thom Brennaman will handle play-by-play duties alongside analyst Charles Davis with Tony Siragusa serving as an on-field analyst.
