Clarksville, TN – Austin Peay State University was recognized as the top public university in the state of Tennessee for its support of careers in criminal justice and corrections, according to rankings recently published by www.CorrectionalOfficer.org
Austin Peay was also the only Tennessee Board of Regents (TBR) university to finish among the Top 10.
The ranking system included an analysis of 28 post-secondary institutions in Tennessee offering programs in criminal justice or corrections.
The ranking combines information from student data, published surveys and other data collected from government agencies, such as the National Center for Education Statistics and the Integrated Postsecondary Education Data System.
