Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office asks public help identifying suspect in Woodlawn Burglary and Vandalism

Montgomery County Sheriff's Office - MCSOClarksville, TN – The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s assistance in identify a suspect involved in a burglary and vandalism in the Woodlawn area.

The vandalism occurred in the 2900 block of Cooper Creek Road on Monday, January 11th at approximately 6:15am.

The suspect forced his way into the home through a door. When the homeowner approached the suspect, he said he was looking for a man named Derek. When she informed the suspect no one lived there by that name, he left.

The burglary occurred in the 1200 block of Freedom Drive on Monday, January 11th at approximately 8:00am.

The suspect forced his way into the residence from a back window. Once in the home, he encountered the homeowner’s son and informed him he was there to repair the water. After the boy called his mother, he noticed the TV was missing and the suspect was no longer in the home.

The homeowner was able to provide a video of the suspect from her security system.

The suspect in both incidents is described as a male Caucasian in his 20’s or 30’s. He was wearing a black jacket and a brown beanie hat and driving a dark colored car.
