Montgomery County Sheriff’s Deputy Megan Corder promoted to Corporal

Montgomery County Sheriff's Office - MCSOClarksville, TN – The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office is proud to announce the promotion of Deputy Megan Corder to Corporal.

Corder is a three year veteran of the Sheriff’s Office. She started her career in 2013 in the detention center. In 2014 she was promoted to Field Training Officer. She will continue working in the detention center serving as a Corporal on second shift.

Before joining the Sheriff’s Officer Corder worked as a leasing agent for a local apartment complex. She is married to a fellow Deputy who works third shift in the detention center. They have one child together, a five-month-old daughter.

Corder credits her supervisors at the Sheriff’s Office for her success. “I would not be here without the leadership of Sergeant Secrest and Lieutenant Pierce,” said Corder. “I am grateful for the opportunity to expand my service to the community.”
