Montgomery County Government Offices to Open Two Hours Late Friday, January 22nd

Montgomery County, TN – For the safety of our employees and the citizens of Montgomery County, Montgomery County Government Offices will open two hours late on Friday, January 22nd, 2016, due to the potentially hazardous weather expected overnight.

Public Safety personnel will report as scheduled.

Montgomery County Mayor Jim Durrett states, “With the potential for more winter weather and the timing looking to hit our area around the time many of our employees will be heading to work in the morning, I feel a two hour delay will give us time to better assess the impacts as day breaks. We will be monitoring the weather as it develops and if we see the need for any further delay or closure, we will communicate that information in the morning.”
