“We have been improving the county park system over the last several years and we want to know what needs are being met and what is important to our citizens that is missing from our current offerings. I hope the public will take the time to fill out the survey and to help us shape a plan for the future of Parks and Recreation in the county,” said Mayor Durrett.

Jerry Allbert, County Park and Recreation Director adds, “I encourage everyone to fill out the survey and let your voice be heard. This survey will give us a baseline of needs from the public and help us to determine our next steps and additions to the park system. We are excited to hear what the public has to say, and to seek grants to meet the needs reflected in the survey outcome.”

The survey will be available online until March 31st and hard copies of the survey are available at the County Mayor’s Office for those without computer access.
