The one-day event begins 3:00pm (CT) at French Field House.

UT Vols Basketball falls at Kentucky Wildcats, 80-70

Tennessee Volunteers - UT VolsLexington, KY Senior Armani Moore picked up his second double-double against Kentucky this season, but it wasn’t enough as Tennessee fell, 80-70, in Rupp Arena Thursday night.

Moore led the Volunteers (12-14, 5-8 SEC) in scoring (21) and rebounding (11). It was his fourth double-double of the season and the eighth of his career. He also finished with two blocks, which ties him with Steve Hamer for eighth all-time in Tennessee history at 122 career blocks.

The Wildcats (20-6, 10-3 SEC) found success behind the arc in the second half, connecting on seven 3-pointers compared to Tennessee’s three, helping UK score 44 points in the second half.

#24/RV UT Lady Vols rally to beat Ole Miss Rebels 57-51

UT Lady VolsKnoxville, TN Bashaara Graves posted a double-double with 15 points and 12 rebounds and No. 24/RV Tennessee enjoyed timely contributions off the bench from Meme Jackson and Kortney Dunbar to take a 57-51 win over Ole Miss on Thursday at Thompson-Boling Arena.

Tennessee (16-10, 7-6 SEC) surged in the second half to post its 28th-straight win over Ole Miss (10-16, 2-11 SEC). UT came back from a 33-30 halftime deficit, marking the Lady Vols’ first win of the season after trailing at the half. Tennessee entered the night 0-5 when behind at halftime.

TDOT announces section of I-24 East to Close this Weekend in Davidson County

 

Tennessee Department of Transportation - TDOTNashville, TN – Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT) contract crews will temporarily close a section of Interstate 24 East between State Route 155 (Briley Parkway) and Interstate 65 in Davidson County.

The work is scheduled for Friday, February 19th, 9:00pm through Sunday, February 21st at 12:00pm.

APSU Governors Baseball plays Bradley at Raymond C. Hand Park to open 2016 Season

Austin Peay State University Governors - APSUClarksville, TN – The 2016 Austin Peay State University baseball team will open its campaign when it hosts Missouri Valley Conference foe Bradley in a three-game series, Friday-Sunday, at Raymond C. Hand Park.

The season opener is set for a 3:30pm, Friday first pitch followed by 1:00pm contests both Saturday and Sunday.

Clarksville-Montgomery County under Wind Advisory Friday, February 18th

 

National Weather ServiceNashville, TN – The National Weather Service (NWS) in Nashville has issued a wind advisory for Clarksville-Montgomery County and all of Middle Tennessee which is in effect from 6:00am to 6:00pm CT Friday.

As a strong pressure gradient becomes established across Middle Tennessee Friday morning through the Friday afternoon hours, breezy sustained southerly winds of 15 to 25 mph with gusts of between 35 to 40 mph will be possible across the mid state.

Clarksville Montgomery County area TDOT Maintenance Work starting February 19th, 2016

 

Tennessee Department of Transportation - TDOTNashville, TN – The Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT) reports that on Saturday February 27th, from 7:00am-3:00pm, I-24 Westbound will be closed at MM 8 (SR 237) for bridge construction. Traffic will be detoured using the SR 237 ramps. SR 237 (Rossview Road) will also be closed at this location.

This is part of the bridge replacement project over Interstate 24 (Exit 8) on State Route 237.
