Clarksville Montgomery County area TDOT Maintenance Work starting March 3rd, 2016

Tennessee Department of Transportation - TDOTNashville, TN – The Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT) reports that on Saturday March 5th, from 7:00am-12:00pm (Noon), Interstate 24 westbound will be reduced to one lane at MM 8 (SR 237, Rossview Road) for bridge construction.

This is part of the bridge replacement project over Interstate 24 (Exit 8) on State Route 237.

Lane Closure

 

Cheatham County

Bridge Replacement on I-40 over the Harpeth River
From now through July 2016, Anderson Road at the I-40 overpass will be closed. Detours are in place.

Davidson County

Widening on I-65 from Trinity Lane to Dickerson Pike and Noise Walls on I-65

On Thursday March 3rd through Saturday 5th, from 9:00am–3:00pm, there will be a lane closure on I-65 in both directions from MM 87 to MM 90 to allow for the installation of rumble strips in the concrete shoulders. There will also be light pole foundation work on the right shoulder of I-65 northbound just before Dickerson Road.

On Monday March 7th through Wednesday March 9th, from 9:00am–3:00pm, there will be a lane closure of the right lane on I-65 northbound just before the Dickerson Road exit to allow for the installation of light pole foundations, conduit, and an overhead sign footing.

On Thursday March 3rd through Wednesday March 9th, from 8:00pm-5:00am, there will be mobile operations in various locations for sweeping operations. This will affect the shoulders or inside and outside lanes.

On Monday, March 7th through Friday March 11th, from 9:00pm-5:00am, there will be a lane closure on I-24 at MM48 at the intersection of Oldham Street Bridge to advance soil borings.

Hickman County and Humphreys County

Interchange Improvements on I-40 at SR 50

From now through November 2016, There will be shoulder closures on I-40 in both directions in Humphreys/Hickman County at MM 147.5 to 148.5 in order to extend the I-40 ramps at SR 50.
