APSU Baseball Clarksville, TN – APSU’s baseball team begins its short Easter week schedule when it travels to Western Kentucky for a 6:00pm, Tuesday contest at Nick Denes Field in Bowling Green, KY.

The Governors (9-9, 3-3 OVC) return to the road after a rough weekend of Ohio Valley Conference play at Jacksonville State. A shorthanded Austin Peay State University lineup lost its sixth straight road league set over the weekend as it ran into a red-hot Gamecocks squad.

Fire Weather Watch issued for Clarksville-Montgomery County Tuesday afternoon

 

National Weather ServiceNashville, TN – The National Weather Service in Nashville has issued a fire weather watch for Clarksville-Montgomery County and Middle Tennessee which is in effect Tuesday afternoon. Breezy winds and low RH values are expected Tuesday afternoon.

Temperatures will climb well into the 60s on Tuesday. With lower dew points causing RH values to fall into the 25-30 percent range and a tightening surface pressure gradient causing 15-20 mph surface winds with higher gusts. It looks like we should come very close, if not meet red flag criteria in several spots Tuesday afternoon. Dispersion rates will be very good Tuesday afternoon.

Fort Campbell announces Gate 2, Angels Gate and Mabry Gate to close this weekend

 

Fort Campbell KY - 101st Airborne DivisionFort Campbell, KY – Starting Friday, March 25th, 2016, Fort Campbell Gate 2, Angels Gate and Mabry Gate will be closed due to the upcoming training holiday weekend.

The gates will be closed from the March 25th through Monday, March 28th.

Gate 3 and Gate 6 will be open limited hours on Friday, March 25th and Monday, March 28th from 4:30am-9:30am and from 3:00pm-6:00pm, in order to help facilitate traffic flow during peak hours.
