Nashville Zoo to hold Party for the Planet on April 22nd

Nashville ZooNashville, TN – Join the Nashville Zoo in celebrating Earth Day at our first annual Party for the Planet on April 22nd. Activities will include special keeper talks, docent conservation tours, a recycled art contest, games and more. Party for the Planet is free with Zoo admission or membership.

Visitors (ages 4-18) can enter a recycled art contest for a chance to win a free Zoo Family Membership. Art pieces will be displayed at the Zoo between 9:00am – 4:00pm along the Savannah Loop.

Pre-registration is required and can be done on the Nashville Zoo’s website.

As part of our Party for the Planet, students from Croft Middle School will be showcasing their completed conservation projects for Zoo guests in the Jungle Terrace tent from 10:00am – 2:00pm.

The Zoo’s Festival Field will also be filled with fun activities and games between 9:00am – 2:00pm Local organizations will be onsite to share tips about living green and how to become involved.
