Clarksville Montgomery County area TDOT Maintenance Work starting April 8th, 2016

Tennessee Department of Transportation - TDOTNashville, TN – The Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT) reports that on Saturday April 9th, from 7:00am-3:00pm, Interstate 24 eastbound will be closed at Exit 8 (SR 237, Rossview Road) in order to set bridge beams.

Traffic will be detoured at the off ramp and allowed to get back on I-24 on the on ramp. Also, SR 237 (Rossview Road) will be closed during this time.

Bridge Replacement on I-40 over the Harpeth River
From now through July 2016, Anderson Road at the I-40 overpass will be closed. Detours are in place.

Davidson County

On-Call Concrete Pavement Repair At Various Locations

On Saturday April 9th, from 3:00am through Monday April 11th, 6:00am, the ramp from I-24 eastbound from Clarksville to Briley Parkway eastbound will be closed to allow for the replacement of deteriorated concrete. A detour will be in place for traffic heading to Briley East.

On Monday April 11th through Wednesday April 13th, from 8:00pm–6:00am, there will be alternating lane closures of the ramps from I-24 in both directions to Briley Parkway in both directions to allow for saw cutting of deteriorated concrete.

Installation of an overhead sign structure on I-24 Westbound

On Saturday April 16th, from 9:00pm-5:00am, there will be a partial ramp closure from I-24 westbound onto Briley Parkway and a right lane closure on I-24 westbound at MM 43 (Briley Parkway) to set up equipment to swing overhead structure, inside left lane will remain open to flowing traffic. There will be a rolling roadblock (approx. 10 minutes) to swing the overhead structure.

On Sunday April 17th, from 9:00pm-5:00am, there will be a partial ramp closure from I-24 westbound onto Briley Parkway and right lane closure on I-24 westbound at MM 43 (Briley Parkway) to set up equipment to swing overhead structure, inside left lane will remain open to flowing traffic. There will be a rolling roadblock (approx. 10 minutes) to swing the overhead structure.
