Clarksville Montgomery County area TDOT Maintenance Work starting April 16th, 2016

Tennessee Department of Transportation - TDOTNashville, TN – The Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT) reports that on Saturday, April 16th, from 7:00am through 2:00pm, there will be a lane closure on I-24 eastbound at MM 8 (Exit 8 to SR 237) for bridge construction.

Motorists can expect some minor delays and should allow additional travel time, or seek an alternate route if all possible.

Lane Closure

Law Enforcement and contractor personnel will be monitoring and directing motorists as needed to keep traffic flowing.

This is part of the bridge replacement project over Interstate 24 (Exit 8) on State Route 237.

Cheatham County

Bridge Replacement on I-40 over the Harpeth River
From now through July 2016, Anderson Road at the I-40 overpass will be closed. Detours are in place.

Davidson County

On-Call Concrete Pavement Repair At Various Locations

On Friday April 15th, from 8:00pm–6:00am, the I-24 eastbound ramp to Briley Parkway eastbound (MM54) will be closed to allow for saw cutting of deteriorated concrete. There will also be alternating lane closures on Briley Parkway eastbound from MM 20 to MM 21 (between Clarksville Pike and Whites Creek Pike) to allow for saw cutting. There will be one lane open at all times.

On Saturday April 16th, from 3:00am through Monday April 18th, 6:00am, the I-24 eastbound ramp to Briley Parkway eastbound (MM54) will be closed to allow for saw cutting of deteriorated concrete. A detour will be in place for traffic heading to Briley Parkway eastbound. There will be one lane open on Briley Parkway at all times.

On Monday April 18th through Wednesday April 20th, from 8:00pm–6:00am, there will be alternating lane closures of the I-24 ramps in both directions to Briley Parkway in both directions to allow for saw cutting of deteriorated concrete. There will be one lane open at all times.

Davidson County

Installation of an overhead sign structure on I-24 Westbound

On Friday April 15th, from 9:00am-3:00pm, there will be a shoulder closure on I-24 westbound at MM 43 (Briley Parkway) to prep site for overhead structure installation.

On Saturday April 16th, from 9:00pm-5:00am, there will be a partial ramp closure from I-24 westbound onto Briley Parkway and a right lane closure on I-24 westbound at MM 43 (Briley Parkway) to set up equipment to swing overhead structure, inside left lane will remain open to flowing traffic. There will be a rolling roadblock (approx. 10 minutes) to swing the overhead structure.

On Sunday April 17th, from 9:00pm-5:00am (alternate date), There will be a partial ramp closure from I-24 westbound onto Briley Parkway and right lane closure on I-24 westbound at MM 43 (Briley Parkway) to set up equipment to swing overhead structure, inside left lane will remain open to flowing traffic. There will be a rolling roadblock (approx. 10 minutes) to swing the overhead structure.

Hickman and Humphreys Counties

Interchange Improvements on I-40 at SR 50

From now through November 2016, There will be shoulder closures on I-40 in both directions in Humphreys/Hickman County at MM 147.5 to 148.5 in order to extend the I-40 ramps at SR 50.

Robertson and Sumner Counties

Construction of new interchange on I-65 at S.R. 10

On Friday April 15th, from 8:00pm-5:00am, there will be lane closures on I-65 in both directions at MM 121 (near KY state line) for milling and paving operations. One lane will remain open.

On Monday April 18th, from 9:00am-3:00pm, there will be a rolling road block along I-65 in both directions for pulling lines across the interstate.
