Renato Nunez’s 8th inning Double secures Nashville Sounds 3-2 victory

 

Sounds Pitchers Strand Seven Bees Runners In Scoring Position

Nashville SoundsSalt Lake City, NV – The Nashville Sounds got a clutch RBI double from Renato Nunez scoring Chad Pinder for the go ahead run in the top of the eighth. The Sounds took game one in the four-game series 3-2 at Smith’s Ballpark Friday night in Salt Lake.

Jaycob Brugman led off the game with a double to right center field to put a runner in scoring position right from the start. Brugman then scored on a ground out by Max Muncy to put the Sounds up 1-0 after the first inning.

The Sounds scored again in the top of the third inning on a sacrifice fly to center by Brugman to score Joey Wendle from third to take a 2-0 lead.

In a boat on the water, the effects of alcohol increase because of external stressors such as engine vibration, wave motion and glare from the sun.

City of Clarksville Offices closed Monday, May 30th, 2016

Flood Warning for Port Royal extended until Saturday morning

 

National Weather ServiceNashville, TN – The National Weather Service (NWS) in Nashville has extended the Flood Warning for Red River at Port Royal until Saturday, May 28th, at 2:48am.

At 7:00am on Friday, May 27th, the stage was 29.8 feet and rising. Minor flooding is forecast. Flood stage is 30.0 feet.

The Red River is forecasted to rise above flood stage this morning and continue to rise to near 31.0 feet this afternoon.

Recent rain and storms fell on an already saturated ground creating heavy run off and flooding.
