Clarksville Montgomery County area TDOT Maintenance Work starting June 17th, 2016

Tennessee Department of Transportation - TDOTNashville, TN – The Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT) reports that on Friday, June 17th, from 8:00pm-5:00am, there will be alternating lane closures on I-24 in both directions from MM 7.5 to MM 8.5 near Rossview Road for installation of guardrail and paving operations.

This is part of the bridge replacement project over Interstate 24 (Exit 8) on State Route 237.

Lane Closure

Davidson County

Snowplowable pavement marker relensing, various locations
On Friday, June 17th through Wednesday June 22nd, from 8:00pm-6:00am:

  • I-24 in both directions from Jefferson Street to I-40
  • I-24 in both directions from US 41 to Haywood Lane
  • I-40 in both directions from Briley Parkway to I-65/I-24
  • I-40 in both directions from Murfreesboro Rd to Old Hickory Blvd
  • I-440 in both directions
  • I-65 in both directions from I-40 to Trinity Lane

Dickson County

Concrete and asphalt installation on SR 840
On Thursday June 23rd and Friday June 24th, from 8:00pm-5:00am, there will be lane closures in the I-40/SR 840 interchange area for concrete and asphalt installation.

Cheatham County

Bridge Replacement on I-40 over the Harpeth River
From now through July 2016, Anderson Road at the I-40 overpass will be closed. Detours are in place.

On Monday June 13th through Tuesday June 14th, from 11:00pm-6:00am, there will be a lane closure on I-40 westbound to pour deck concrete.
