Clarksville Montgomery County area TDOT Maintenance Work starting June 22nd, 2016

 

Tennessee Department of Transportation - TDOTNashville, TN – The Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT) reports that from now through August 15th, 2016, resurfacing work will result in lane closures on weekdays for State Route 48 in both directions in Montgomery County, between the Dickson-Montgomery County Line and the Hwy-48 and SR-13 split.

Nashville Sounds fall at Iowa Cubs 3-2

 

Nashville SoundsDes Moines, IA – The Nashville Sounds dropped the series opener to the Iowa Cubs as the offense went quiet in a 3-2 loss Wednesday afternoon at Principal Park.

The Sounds (43-30) managed just five hits and went 1-for-6 with runners in scoring position against three Iowa (33-36) pitchers.

Starters Chris Jensen for Nashville, and Jake Buchanan for Iowa, each threw quality starts but Buchanan was better by a slim margin. The right-hander limited the Sounds to one run on just three hits over his six innings in a winning effort. Jensen was charged with the loss after he allowed three runs on seven hits in six innings.

Clarksville Police report Exit 11 now open

 

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – The Clarksville Police Department today was working a Vehicle Crash at Exit 11 involving a Semi Trailer, a Truck and a fire.

CPD reports that Exit 11 is now open.

There were only minor injuries from the accident.

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – The Clarksville Police Department is still working a Vehicle Crash at Exit 11 involving a Semi Trailer, a Truck and a fire.

CPD has been able to open one lane but it is a hazmat scene that will take awhile to clean. The public is still advised to take alternate routes.
