CDE has multiple crews working to restore power as quickly and safely as possible. CDE will continue to work throughout the night until all power is restored.

Nashville Sounds lose 5-1 to New Orleans Zephyrs

 

Nashville SoundsNashville, TN – The New Orleans Zephyrs sent the Nashville Sounds to their sixth straight home loss with a 5-1 setback in front of 7,444 fans Friday night at First Tennessee Park.

The two teams made it through six innings before severe weather forced the game to come to a halt.

Xavier Scruggs wasted little time getting New Orleans on the board in the top of the first inning. The first baseman belted a solo homer off Zach Neal – one of two he hit in the game – to make it 1-0.

Four Clarksville Police Department Patrol Officers Recognized Today

 

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – Today, July 8th, 2016, Clarksville Police Chief Al Ansley recognized Officers Castin Lanham, Timothy Simulis, Zach Forfang, and David Moore for their exemplary actions concerning an armed suicidal male. Officers Zach Forfang and David Moore were not able to attend the meeting this morning when they were recognized.

On June 7th, 2016, a suicidal male called 911 and told the Dispatcher he was going to douse himself with gas and was armed with a knife and a gun.

CPD Officers Castin Lanham, Timothy Simulis, Zach Forfang, and David Moore were recognized for their exemplary actions concerning an armed suicidal male today.

City of Clarksville closes part of Dunbar Cave Road due to high water

Clarksville Gas and Water reports Lafayette Road Area Water Outage and Road Closure

Clarksville Gas and Water Department - CGWClarksville, TN – Clarksville Gas and Water has turned off water service on Lafayette Road from Charlemagne Boulevard to Lillie Belle Lane to repair a water main leak.

The water outage will also affect residents on Collinwood Drive, Monarch Lane and Cloe Court during the work. Area residents may also experience low water pressure.

Clarksville Police requests public help locating missing person John Marrone

 

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – Detective Kevin Shaw from the Clarksville Police Department is searching for a missing adult male and is requesting public assistance.

The missing person is 39-year-old John Marrone from Clarksville, Tennessee. He was last seen on Wednesday, June 29th, 2016 at around 10:30am at the BP station on Fort Campbell Boulevard and Cunningham Lane.

Clarksville Department of Electricity - CDE - CDE LightbandClarksville, TN – CDE Lightband will open its new drive-thru at 2021 Wilma Rudolph Boulevard on Monday, July 11th at 8:00am.

Located on the right side of the building when viewed from the road, it replaces the drive thru located at the front of the building.
