Clarksville Police Department release Video on how a Card Skimmer is Attached

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – The Clarksville Police Department would like to thank First Advantage Bank for their cooperation in the ATM skimmer investigation.

They are an example of how a business takes care of not only their customers but also the Clarksville citizens and the citizens in the surrounding area, by educating us all in the most current ATM skimmer incidents.

With their assistance and the use of one of their ATMs, CPD has released a video that shows how the skimmers attach to the mouth of the card inserts on the ATMs.

When you test the card reader, you will not damage the ATM. If it looks suspicious, you are encouraged to check the card reader. If you find a skimmer, immediately call 911.
