Taijuan Walker Throws 6 1/3 Scoreless Innings for Tacoma
Nashville, TN – The Nashville Sounds scored four runs in the bottom of the ninth but the rally came up short in a 6-4 loss to the Tacoma Rainiers Thursday night in front of 8,182 fans at First Tennessee Park.
Trailing 6-0 going into the ninth, the Sounds rallied and eventually put the winning run on base. Joey Wendle started the outburst with a one-out single. Matt McBride followed with a single of his own before Colin Walsh scored both with a double down the left field line to trim the deficit to 6-2.
Nashville, TN – An investigation by Special Agents with the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation has resulted in the arrest of three Humphreys County men, after they were indicted for a 2015 aggravated assault.
At the request of 23rd District Attorney General Ray Crouch, on June 2nd, 2015, TBI Special Agents began investigating a report of an aggravated assault that occurred on Judy Branch Road in Houston County.

Clarksville, TN – The Clarksville Police Department is partnering with the Tennessee Highway Safety Office (THSO) to increase DUI enforcement across Tennessee from August 19th to Labor Day as part of the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration’s nationwide mobilization against drunk driving.
In 2015, Tennessee lost 239 lives to alcohol-related traffic crashes, according to the Tennessee Department of Safety and Homeland Security’s TITAN Division. Thus far in 2016, Tennessee has experienced 118 alcohol-related fatalities.
It’s free, open to the public and a great way to spend an educational day outdoors for all ages (children must be accompanied by an adult).

Clarksville, TN – In the early morning hours, Thursday, August 18th, 2016 at 1:52am, Clarksville Police Officers responded to a shots fired call that included an injury at the 700 block of Central Avenue.
After an altercation had occurred between individuals in the area, an unknown suspect began shooting his weapon towards the victim. The victim’s hand was injured by what appeared to be bullet fragments or a gunshot wound.
