Papillion, NB – The Nashville Sounds scored all seven of their runs on three home runs to rout the Omaha Storm Chasers 7-0 Tuesday afternoon at Werner Park.
Renato Nunez, Josh Rodriguez and Colin Walsh each hit a home run in the Sounds win. Nunez clubbed his 22nd homer with a solo shot in the first, while Rodriguez added a grand slam in the second and Walsh smashed a two-run blast in the fifth.
After Jaycob Brugman led off the game with a single, it was quickly erased when Walsh grounded into a 4-6-3 double play. With two outs in the first, Nunez unloaded on a 2-2 breaking ball to give the Sounds an early 1-0 lead.

Brentwood, TN – Junior forward Kirstin Robertson, of the Austin Peay State University women’s soccer team, was named the adidas® Ohio Valley Conference Offensive Player of the Week, Tuesday.
The award is Robertson’s first of her Austin Peay career after entering the program out of Harpeth Hall School.
Clarksville, TN – On August 10th, 2016 Clarksville Police Officers responded to an Aggravated Assault at 15 Lincoln Drive.
After asking the two victims to move away from their vehicle, a group of ten to fifteen males and one female jumped the victims, pushed them to the ground and then kicked and punched them.
Both victims had signs of assault on their faces and scrapes on the male’s arms and knees from the assault. The female victim was transported to Tennova Healthcare with injuries.

Beginning with the Fall 2016 semester, students making progress toward a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Information Systems may now pursue a B.S. in three new majors: computer science, computer information systems and computer information technology.

Created by Ryan Bowie and Sidney McCarty and directed by Bowie, this new musical revue is being presented as part of the Roxy’s “On The Terrazzo” Series, which features performances in the intimate setting of the theatre’s lobby.

Nashville, TN – The Tennessee Titans today announced the 2016 launch of the Titans High School Game of the Week presented by Academy Sports + Outdoors.
Beginning this week, Week 2 of the High School football season, four matchups will be chosen to compete to become the High School Game of the Week. A panel of media members select the top matchups from East, Middle, and West Tennessee, and one wild card.
