Clarksville, TN – Three Clarksville men have been arrested for violations of the sex offender registry in three separate incidents.
Investigators Jeffrey Morlock and Al Maynard with the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office were notified by the Clarksville Montgomery County School System after the three men used the new visitor management sign-in process.
The school system’s new sign-in process provides an immediate check through the state and national sex offender database.
Bernard Wilson
Bernard Lamont Wilson, 39, was arrested on September 28th, 2016, after attempting to sign a family member out of Kenwood High School. He was charged with being on the premises of a public school when the offender has reason to believe children under eighteen years of age are present.
Wilson’s bond was set at $25,000.
Demoney Rich
Demoney Douglas Rich, 35, was arrested on September 21st, 2016, after attempting to visit the school on a matter concerning his girlfriend’s child at Byrns Darden Elementary School.
He was charged with being on the premises of a public school when the offender has reason to believe children under eighteen years of age are present, changing residence without notifying law enforcement, and living with a minor child not their own.
Rich’s bond was set at $75,000.
Jason Danner
Jason Robert Danner, 45, was arrested on September 20th, 2016, after attempting to sign his girlfriend’s child out of West Creek High School. He was charged with being on the premises of a public school when the offender has reason to believe children under eighteen years of age are present.
Danner’s bond was set at $5,000.
Bonds are set by the judicial magistrate, not by the Sheriff’s Office.
