Greystone, site of the Ohio Valley Conference Championship from 2010-13, is hosting APSU’s home tournament for the first time; the par-72 track will play at 7,045 yards this week, with the 560-yard par-five on No. 2 the longest offering on the course.

Teams are slated to play 36 holes Monday, with the final 18 scheduled for Tuesday.

In addition to Austin Peay, a cavalcade of OVC teams will populate the course this week—seven conference members make up the 10-team field, with Belmont, Eastern Illinois, Murray State, Tennessee State, Tennessee Tech and UT Martin scheduled to compete. Mercer, Missouri State and New Orleans also are slated to take part in the event.

The top of the Governor lineup remains unchanged this week, with the steady play of senior Erik Hedberg and junior Justin Arens ensuring that they will remain part of head coach Robbie Wilson‘s five-man lineup. Hedberg looks to build on the fourth-place finish he earned two weeks ago at the Skyhawk Classic.

After a top-20 finish at the Skyhawk Classic that included a season-low 71 in the second round, junior Hunter Tidwell slots in as the No. 3 this week. A pair of freshmen will take the final two spots in the lineup, with Austin Lancaster and Michael Busse coming in as the No. 4 and No. 5, respectively. Busse returns to the lineup for the first time since the season-opening Joe Feaganes Invitational, while Lancaster makes his third appearance in four tournaments in the Governors starting lineup.

The Governors also will feature three players—sophomores Sean Butscher and Sam Lopez and freshman Alex Vegh—competing as individuals this week. Butscher’s second-round 72 at the Skyhawk Classic was his season-low.

The Govs will take next week off before closing out the fall season at the Hummingbird Invitational, October 31st-November 1st, hosted by Western Carolina in Sapphire, North Carolina.
