Clarksville, TN – Being able to speak a second language is something worth bragging about, but can it help you get a job? According to the website topuniversities.com, graduates with degrees in foreign languages “have long been in demand across many sectors of business and industry.”
At 7:00pm on Monday, October 24th, 2016 the Austin Peay State University foreign language faculty will host a career night in the Morgan University Center Ballroom to discuss the advantages of pursuing a foreign language degree in an increasingly globalized society.
“This is an informal, roundtable discussion for anyone who has ever wondered what they can do with a degree in foreign languages,” Dr. Tim Winters, professor of classics at APSU, said.
The event is free and open to high school and college students, and their parents.
