Clarksville, TN – Nearly two dozen law enforcement officers from the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office, Houston County Sheriff’s Office, Clarksville Police Department, and the Tennessee Highway Patrol worked throughout the night to apprehend Zaccariah Bradford Pride.
Pride was located by law enforcement hiding under a tree near the intersection of Highway 49 and Cedar Valley Road in Houston County shortly after 2:00am early Saturday morning.Pride is wanted in Montgomery County on three counts of aggravated assault and one count of reckless endangerment stemming from a traffic accident where he fled the scene after brandishing a weapon at several bystanders.
“This apprehension is the result of good coordination and teamwork from four law enforcement agencies. This is a good example of how law enforcement work together collectively to keep their respective citizens safe,” said Montgomery County Sheriff John Fuson.
“We were not going to give up until Pride was taken into custody. We had been following leads throughout night, as were other agencies in our region,” Fuson added.
“I want to thank the Houston County Sheriff’s Office, Clarksville Police Department and the Tennessee Highway Patrol. Through coordinated teamwork we were able to get a dangerous criminal off the streets,” said Fuson.
Pride is currently incarcerated in the Houston County Jail.
