APSU Soccer battles Murray State to 0-0 draw; heads to SIU Edwardsville for first round OVC Tournament match

APSU Soccer - Austin Peay State UniversityClarksville, TN – Austin Peay State University women’s soccer team put up a strong defensive effort against Murray State, Thursday, leading to a 0-0 draw at Morgan Brothers Soccer Field.

As a result, the Governors (10-6-3, 5-2-3 OVC) will travel to SIU Edwardsville in opening round OVC Tournament play, 1:00pm, Sunday.

“Abbott and Costello meet Frankenstein” is about two hapless train freight handlers that find themselves encountering Dracula, the Frankenstein Monster and the Wolf Man when dealing with a shipment destined for a local wax museum, “McDougal House Of Horrors”.

Clarksville-Montgomery County Public LibraryMontgomery County, TN – The Clarksville-Montgomery County Public Library is having a special Halloween Sensory Story Time on Sunday, October 30th at 1:30pm.

Sensory story times are geared towards children who have a hard time in large groups, are on the Autism Spectrum, or are sensitive to sensory overload. We will use pre-school level books, songs and movement during these story times.

Clarksville Police arrest Sarina Hill during Prostitution Operation

 

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – On Wednesday, October 26th, 2016, Vice Agents of the Clarksville Police Department’s Special Operations Unit conducted operations on Backpage.com targeting prostitution.

30-year-old Sarina Hill from Clarksville was arrested and charged with Prostitution with a total bond amount of $1000.

These types of operations are ongoing. Agent Vince Duke and Agent Jason Smock are the lead investigators.

After struggling in her final home tournament two weeks ago, Kauffman battled back with her season’s first top-10 showing over the weekend at the Winthrop Intercollegiate.
