The Govs will be joined in Sapphire Valley by competitors from Eastern Kentucky, Elon, High Point, Duke, Western Carolina, Morehead State, Brevard, USC Beaufort, Cardinal Stritch and Southern Wesleyan.

The Par-71 course will play out at 6,767 yards this week, with 18 holes scheduled for Monday and Tuesday.

After posting the Governors top finish at the 2016 F&M Bank APSU Intercollegiate two weeks ago, sophomore Sean Butscher has worked his way from competing as an individual to the No. 1 spot in Austin Peay’s lineup this week; the Tallahassee, Florida native hopes to build on his fifth-place performance at Greystone.

Junior Justin Arens and senior Erik Hedberg have been two of head coach Robbie Wilson‘s most consistent performers for much of the fall; Arens’ 148 over the final 36 holes at Greystone was an Austin Peay best, while Hedberg looks to bounce back strong from his highest 54-hole score since last spring’s OVC Championships.

Junior Hunter Tidwell and freshman Austin Lancaster round out the lineup for the Govs. Lancaster in particular looks to build on his top-20 finish at Greystone his last time out. Freshman Alex Vegh will travel to Sapphire Valley as the individual, while sophomore Sam Lopez and freshman Michael Busse will stay close to home and participate as individuals at the Trevecca Men’s Invitational, which will take place at Foxland Harbour Golf and Country Club in Gallatin, TN.

Austin Peay will be grouped with High Point and USC Beaufort, teeing off at 9:30am (ET) from Hole No. 1. There will be no live scoring for this event, but results will be posted on www.LetsGoPeay.com at the end of each round.
