Campbell, of Cordova, Tennessee, enters her sophomore season at Walters State Community College coached by Dave Kargel. Campbell averaged 6.2 points per game with a 37.3 three-point percentage in her freshman season, playing alongside current Gov Ant’Treasia Patton.

Prior to playing collegiate basketball, the 5-11 guard excelled under Tommy Warren at Cordova High School where she was all-conference first team as a sophomore, junior and senior, and was a two-time best of preps honoree.

She also played summer ball for All In and Memphis Tri-State Elite. Michaela is the daughter of Rosalyn Campbell.

“The first thing that comes to mind is she’s a shooter,” Midlick said. “She shoots the ball extremely well. She’s a big wing who can shoot the basketball and stretch a defense.”

LeFlore will join the Govs out of Olive Branch, Mississippi, where she currently plays at St. Benedict at Auburndale High School under Caleb Marcum. She was named all-conference first team as a junior, along with Mississippi Preps honors as a sophomore and Defensive Player of the Year her junior year.

Academically, she has received many accolades, including the National Academy of Future Scientists and Technologists Award of Excellence and is a member of the National Society of High School Scholars. LeFlore played AAU for Team Penny where she averaged 12 points and three rebounds per game.

LeFlore has three siblings who played collegiate sports, and is the daughter of Earl and Sonja LeFlore.

“She’s a really tough defender who can guard multiple positions,” Midlick said. “Offensively, she can drive to the basket on offense, and she’s a leader. She led her AAU team and leads her high school, and I think our team will gravitate towards that with her on the floor.”

Kenol, from Woodbury, Minnesota, is finishing her prep career at East Ridge High School, coached by Glen Wurm. The forward/center attended the USA Women’s Basketball U16 and U17 Trials in Colorado Springs, Colorado, and also competed for 43 Hoops, a group in Minneapolis with head coach Chris Carr.

Kelen is the daughter of Yvonne Mitchell and Max Kenol.

“The first thing that stood out to us was how hard she plays,” Midlick said. “She did whatever her coach asked in AAU. She knows the floor well, she’s a good rebounder and a really good defender. She’ll be a player who will do what is asked of her here.”
