APSU Volleyball’s Kristen Stucker named to OVC All-Tournament team

APSU Women's Volleyball - Austin Peay State UniversityMurray, KY – Austin Peay State University sophomore setter Kristen Stucker added another award to her collection, picking up Ohio Valley Conference All-Tournament honors, Saturday night, after the conclusion of the league’s championship.

Stucker, of Johnston, Iowa, was named to the all-tournament squad after leading Austin Peay to the tournament semifinals.

She had 104 assists (13.00 per set) on the Govs 115 kills in eight sets. Behind her performance, the Govs posted an impressive .251 attack percentage as a team.

Stucker also chipped in two kills, a team-best four service aces, 15 digs and two blocks during the tournament.

The OVC’s Setter of the Year, Stucker was joined on the all-tournament squad by Eastern Kentucky’s Nikki Drost, SIU Edwardsville’s Mallory Mangun and Katie Shashack, as well as Murray State’s Kristen Besselsen, Ellie Lorenz and Scottie Ingram. Ingram was named to tournament’s “Most Valuable Player” after leading the Racers to the tournament title.
