Fort Wayne, IN – Austin Peay State University men’s basketball team got another strong performance from senior Kenny Jones, who scored 20 points and added nine rebounds against Fort Wayne, Saturday.

I was in Lowe’s recently and saw near the Christmas trees three rows of gifts that were labeled “under $5.00,” “under $10.00,” and “under $25.00.” What a concept!

Nashville, TN – The Broncos scored 31 points in the second half to give them a 51-28 victory over the Titans at Sports Authority Field at Mile High. The Titans led at one point in the first half 21-10, but after that, the Broncos scored 24 unanswered points. Denver scored on each of its last seven possessions, excluding a final set of kneel-downs at the end of the game.
Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning completed 39 of 59 passes for 397 yards and four touchdowns without throwing an interception. He accounted for the second-highest number of attempts and completions against the Titans in the franchise’s history, behind only a 40-of-61 performance by Colt McCoy on October 2nd, 2011.
Clarksville, TN – On Thursday, December 8th, 2016, Clarksville Police Department Traffic Lt Phil Ashby along with some of his Traffic Unit personnel attended the Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) Statewide Night of Remembrance—Law Enforcement, Volunteer, and Community Awards Ceremony.
Due to their community involvement in providing our Clarksville youth (ages 15-19) with the Student Traffic Awareness Training (STAT) classes three times per year for the last several years, they were presented with the MADD Middle TN Outstanding Department Award.

Knoxville, TN – The Tennessee basketball program kicks off a stretch of four games in eight days when it travels to face No. 7 North Carolina on Sunday. Tipoff is set for 4:00pm CT on ESPN.
Tennessee (4-3) is riding a three-game winning streak heading into its first true road contest of the season. Most recently, the Vols rode a hot shooting night to a 90-50 victory over Presbyterian on Tuesday, tying the school record with 16 made 3-pointers in the game. Redshirt freshman Lamonte Turner converted 7-of-11 from beyond the arc en route to a season-best 24 points while true freshman Jordan Bowden added five treys and 21 points.

Clarksville, TN – Clarksville Gas and Water has turned off water service on North Riverside Drive between McClure Street and North Spring Street to repair a water main leak.
Low water pressure may also affect the surrounding area.
The repair is anticipated to be finished and water service restored by approximately 12:00pm.
Clarksville, TN – Clarksville Parks and Recreation Department invites children of all ages to visit Christmas on the Cumberland at the McGregor Park Riverwalk for fun, family-friendly activities.
Visitors can enjoy holiday-themed crafts and performances by local choirs and dance groups as well as enjoy a photo opportunity with Santa on December 10th and December 17th from 6:00pm-8:00pm.
