Knoxville, TN – Tennessee hosts in-state and I-40 foe Tennessee Tech on Tuesday night at Thompson-Boling Arena with tipoff set for 6:00pm CT on the SEC Network.
The Vols (4-4) are looking to bounce back from a narrow defeat at the hands of No. 7 North Carolina on Sunday night and grab their 14th consecutive home victory during the month of December.
Tennessee got a big showing from its leading scorer, Robert Hubbs III, in Chapel Hill. The senior scored 21 points on 9-of-11 shooting to boost his season average to 14.8 points per game. Hubbs is joined in double figures by redshirt freshman Lamonte Turner at 10.3 ppg.
Clarksville, TN – On Saturday, December 10th, 2016, at 9:00am, the Clarksville Police Union’s “Shop with a Cop” was a great success. Officers took approximately 212 local children (101 last year) from all over Montgomery County shopping.
There were over 50 CPD Officers, CPD employees, Police Union volunteers, and Clarksville Police Academy Alumni (CPAA) volunteers.

Clarksville, TN – Austin Peay State University’s athletics department and its Student-Athlete Advisory Committee are seeking help to make the holiday season a little brighter for local families.
Fans attending the Governors basketball games Wednesday, December 14th and Saturday, December 17th may receive free admission with the donation of a toy to assist the department’s Help An Elf drive.
Fans can bring unopened toys (see the list of children’s ages below) to the women’s Wednesday, December 14th contest against Kennesaw State or the men’s Saturday, December 17th contest against Evansville. Only one toy per admission will be accepted at the gate.
101st Airborne Division Band to perform Holiday Concert at Clarksville-Montgomery County Public Library
Clarksville, TN – The 101st Airborne Division Band from Fort Campbell, KY will be performing in the atrium of the Clarksville-Montgomery County Public Library at 6:00pm on Tuesday, December 13th.
The show will feature several different types of musical groupings including a brass quintet and a jazz combo for an hour-long concert.

Nashville, TN – Representatives from the Franklin American Mortgage Music City Bowl have announced that the University of Tennessee Volunteers will represent the Southeastern Conference (SEC) in the 19th annual Bowl as they take on the University of Nebraska Cornhuskers of the Big Ten Conference.
Kickoff will be Friday, December 30th at 2:30pm CST at Nissan Stadium in Nashville Tennessee. The game will be televised live on ESPN.

Clarksville, TN – The Clarksville Police Department is partnering with the Tennessee Highway Safety Office (THSO) to enhance drunk-driving enforcement from December 15th to January 1st, surrounding the holiday season. The statewide Booze It and Lose It campaign is part of a national mobilization to prevent drunk driving.
Officers of the Clarksville Police Department will be out in force in an effort to save lives over the holiday season.

Clarksville, TN – Clarksville Gas and Water has planned a water outage at 8:00am Tuesday morning for the Huntco Drive area to remove a water main line from service after the installation of a new line.
The water outage will affect Huntco Drive, Economy Drive and Cola Drive until approximately 11:00am when the work is anticipated to be finished.

The library supplies the Legos, you supply the imagination! The program is from 3:00pm until 4:30pm.
Clarksville, TN – Austin Peay State University’s Athletic Department had 13 former and current student athletics participate in the schools December 9th Winter Commencement ceremonies, held in the Dunn Center.
The 13 Govs that picked up their degrees were spread out over seven teams; with football leading the way with five, followed by baseball (3) and volleyball, women’s soccer, women’s tennis and women’s golf all having one graduate.
