Knoxville, TN – Robert Hubbs III scored 25 points to lead the Vols (5-4) to a 74-68 win over in-state foe Tennessee Tech (4-8) Tuesday at Thompson-Boling Arena.
The win moves Tennessee’s all-time record to 23-1 against the Golden Eagles and extends their home win streak to four games.
Hubbs finished the day with 25 points, seven rebounds and went 5-of-5 from the free-throw line. Lamonte Turner added 16 points, going 5-9 from the field and dishing out four assists.

Clarksville, TN – Clarksville Police Officers and paramedics were dispatched to the 200 block of Executive Avenue at 3:56pm Tuesday, December 13th, 2016 due to an E911 call about an individual with two gunshot wounds. He was transported by ambulance to Nashville Tennessee.
It is unknown how serious his injuries were, but he was alert and talking before leaving the scene.

Clarksville, TN – Clarksville Gas and Water has planned a water outage and road closure on Wednesday beginning at 8:00am on Ringgold Road for water main line work.
The water outage will affect residents on Ringgold Road and the surrounding area from Ringgold Court to Ranch Hill Drive including Ringgold Court and Brentwood Circle.
Clarksville, TN – The Austin Peay State University Center for Service-Learning and Community Engagement, in association with the departments of Career Services and International Education and the Office of Undergraduate Research, held a High Impact Practices (H.I.P.) Showcase on November 30th, highlighting the work of University students and professors in applying learning to real-world scenarios over the past year.
Over 150 people attended the event, which saw 30 students present their experiences in high impact practices.
Fort Campbell, KY – In honor of Christmas and New Year’s holidays, Blanchfield Army Community Hospital personnel will observe the federal holidays December 26th and January 2nd.
Therefore, all Soldier and Patient-Centered Medical Homes and pharmacies will be closed. The hospital remains open 24 hours a day, seven days a week for emergency services, inpatient care, and labor and delivery services.
