Clarksville Police reports Jack Miller Boulevard Crash with Minor Injury

 

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – On Friday, January 13th, 2017, at 3:07pm, Clarksville Police Department Traffic Officers were dispatched to a crash with injuries at Jack Miller Boulevard and Bo Peep Lane.

It appears from the initial investigation that the driver of a gray Nissan sedan may have lost control, driving into and out of a ditch before striking a white minivan and knocking down a street sign. One person was transported by ambulance to Tennova Healthcare with minor injuries.

Tennessee Vols face Vanderbilt Commodores in Nashville Saturday

The Vols (8-8, 1-3 SEC) and Commodores (8-8, 2-2 SEC) are meeting for the 192nd time on Saturday night. The in-state foes met three times last season — Vanderbilt claimed both regular season meetings while Tennessee came away with a thrilling win over the ‘Dores in the SEC Tournament.

Saturday marks the second of at least three games in the Music City this season for the Vols.

Clarksville Parks and Recreation announces Greenway Trail Reopened

 

Clarksville Parks and Recreation DepartmentClarksville, TN – The southernmost section of the Clarksville Greenway from mile marker 1.25 to mile marker 2.5 has reopened after being temporarily closed for logging activity on private property near the trail. All portions of the trail are now open.   

The Clarksville Greenway can be accessed easily via the Mary’s Oak and Pollard Road trailheads, and at Heritage Park.

A party was held in his honor at the Courts Complex. The event started with the Sheriff highlighting his dedication and honorable service. Afterwards supervisors and fellow deputies took turns reminiscing about his work.
