Clarksville, TN – Austin Peay State University’s softball team will be making just its third trip in 12 years to Tennessee’s largest city to face the University of Memphis, 3:00pm, Wednesday at the Tigers Softball Complex for a non-conference doubleheader.
Clarksville Police announces Mock Crash Exercise to be held at Clarksville Academy Complex on Highway 48/13
Clarksville, TN – On Wednesday, March 29th, 2017 at 12:30pm, the Clarksville Police Department, with LifeFlight, Montgomery County EMS, Clarksville Fire and Rescue, and Montgomery County Sheriff Office will be conducting a Mock Crash at the Clarksville Academy Complex on Highway 48/13.
This will be a Mock and there is no need for anyone to be alarmed.
Clarksville, TN – The 41-A Bypass and Edmondson Ferry Road is closed so the Clarksville Police Department can clear a crash involving Semi Tractor Trailer.
It is estimated that it will take an hour to hour 1/2.
Motorist are asked to find alternate routes until then.

Clarksville, TN – Austin Peay State University’s baseball team begins its longest scheduled excursion of 2017 when it kicks off a five-game road trip with a 6:00pm, Wednesday contest against Middle Tennessee at Reese Smith Jr. Field in Murfreesboro, TN.
Clarksville, TN – Clarksville Police Department Detective Cunningham is trying to identify suspects involved in a vehicle burglary, which occurred on March 23rd, 2017 at the Clarksville Athletic Club.
The suspects stole the victim’s debit/credit cards and made fraudulent purchases at Target, Walmart, Foot Locker, and Dillard’s. The suspects appear to be driving a black Cadillac Escalade.

Clarksville, TN – Clarksville Gas and Water has planned a water outage on Hawkins Road and Morgan Road on Wednesday morning at 8:00am for water valve replacement work.
The water outage will affect Hawkins Road from Morgan Road to Highway 13/48 and Morgan Road from Hawkins Road to Bullock Drive in the Southern Hills subdivision.
Fort Campbell, KY – Command Sgt. Maj. Thomas D. Sutphin, Blanchfield Army Community Hospital’s top noncommissioned officer, is slated to change responsibility with Command Sgt. Maj. Christopher M. Earle at 2:00pm March 31st, 2017.
Sutphin took charge of the U.S. Army Medical Department Activity at Fort Campbell, Kentucky, April 9th, 2015. Just shy of two years, he is leaving Fort Campbell to take the helm as the Inspector General Sergeant Major for U.S. Army Africa – Southern European Task Force, Vicenza, Italy.
Johnson City, TN – The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation has a new addition to its ‘Top 10 Most Wanted’ list: Lorenzo Barr Kamanda.
Kamanda (DOB 2-16-81) is wanted by the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation for the Aggravated Rape of a patient at a nursing home in Gray.
The incident occurred in October of last year while Kamanda was employed at the facility.

Nashville, TN – An investigation by Special Agents with the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation has resulted in the arrest of two Clarksville men who are charged with the murder of a Stewart County man last spring.
At the request of 23rd District Attorney General Ray Crouch, on June 7th, 2016, TBI Special Agents joined detectives with the Cumberland City Police Department in investigating the shooting death of Donnie Cooksey. The victim was found deceased in his Wallace Street home.
