Clarksville Parks and Recreation accepting registrations for Clarksville’s 50 Plus Games

Clarksville Parks and Recreation DepartmentClarksville, TN – Adults fifty years of age and up can register now through Friday, May 5th for Clarksville Parks and Recreation’s 50 Plus Games.

50 Plus Games encourages participants to maintain an active lifestyle and continue participation in sports and recreational activities through friendly competitions. No experience is necessary!  

Clarksville Parks and Recreation’s 50 Plus Games.

This year’s games will be held May 16th-20th at various locations around Clarksville to include the Pinnacle Bowling Center, Swan Lake Sports Complex, Austin Peay’s Foy Center, D&D Blacklight Mini Golf, Rossview High School track, and Crow Community Center.

Participants will face off for bragging rights, as well as medals in over 20 events including shuffleboard, table tennis, horseshoes, track & field, cornhole, basketball free throw, pickleball and glow-in-the-dark mini golf.

Participants who register on or before April 21st qualify for the Early Bird Rate of $25.00.  The cost to register April 22nd through May 6th is $30.00.  The registration fee includes a complimentary event t-shirt, swag bag, and dinner ticket. Registration is also available in-person at Clarksville Parks and Recreation, 102 Public Square, or at any of our three recreation centers.

50 Plus Games will begin with an opening reception at 10:00am on Tuesday, May 16th at Uffelman Estates, 215 Uffelman Drive.  The closing dinner and awards ceremony will feature a casino theme and will be held at 5:30pm, Saturday, May 20th at Crow Community Center, 211 Richview Road.  One dinner ticket is included with each paid 50 Plus Games registration. Additional dinner tickets for guests may be purchased for $10.00 each.
