The dispatchers of the Clarksville-Montgomery 9-1-1 center are on the job 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. They are the unsung heroes who are the first point of contact for people who need emergency services.

National Public Safety Telecommunicators Week is the time to thank our Clarksville-Montgomery 9-1-1 center dispatchers for all their hard work.
National Public Safety Telecommunicators Week is the time to thank our Clarksville-Montgomery 9-1-1 center dispatchers for all their hard work.

When an emergency arises and help is needed the 9-1-1 dispatchers are there to provide a voice of reason and comfort as well as getting the emergency responders on their way to help in a person’s time of need.

They work in a world where it’s like being on a roller coaster every day, communicating and helping people during their darkest or happiest moments.

Locally and throughout our nation, during disasters in the community or when someone is experiencing a personal crisis, 9-1-1 dispatchers are there to meet the challenge as the first line of contact to get emergency responders on their way.

The 9-1-1 Dispatchers provide critical services to Clarksville-Montgomery County. In 2016, the Clarksville-Montgomery County Dispatchers handled 156,686 calls for service. 9-1-1 Dispatchers are never seen, but are always there on the other end of the phone line to provide a helping hand. Take time this week to thank them and recognize them for their dedication and hard work.
