Clarksville, TN – On Tuesday morning, April 25th, 2017, around 3:07am, Clarksville Police Officers responded to a shooting in progress at a Ringgold Court apartment. When officers arrived, they found a 35 year old man who had sustained a gunshot wound to the chest.
The 53 year old shooter had left the scene before officers arrived. He was quickly located by patrol officers and stopped in the area of Golf Club Lane around 3:30am.
Detective Parrish was called out and took over the investigation.
The victim was taken by ambulance to a Nashville hospital in critical condition.
At this time, it appears as though the shooting stemmed from an argument which occurred inside of an apartment.
