Clarksville Police request help finding Timothy Hutcherson with Aggravated Assault Warrant

 

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – Clarksville Police are requesting help locating Timothy Hutcherson, 18, who has an Aggravated Assault warrant on file.

On September 21st, 2017, around 1:20am, CPD Officers responded to 1671 Fort Campbell Boulevard for a fight in progress with shots fired. Officers were told there was a verbal altercation between Timothy Hutcherson and another man which escalated, resulting in Timothy Hutcherson discharging a firearm in the direction of the victim.

Clarksville Police are looking for Timothy Hutcherson.

APSU FootballClarksville, TN – Austin Peay State University football team, coming off an emotional victory last week, will set their sights on Ohio Valley Conference play when they head north to take on rival Murray State 6:00pm, Saturday, September 23rd, 2017 at Roy Stewart Stadium in Murray, Kentucky in the first contest of the 2017 Heritage Bank Battle of the Border.

Six different rushers found the end zone for the Govs last week. JaVaughn Craig, Jeremiah Oatsvall, Kyran Moore, Ahmaad Tanner, Tre Nation and Prince Momodu each found pay dirt in Week Three.

Clarksville Police arrest Kyle Dickson, Dillon Tatro for False Report in Marco’s Pizza Robbery

 

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – Clarksville Police have taken Kyle Dickson and Dillon Tatro into custody after being indicted by the September 2017 Montgomery County Grand Jury for Two Counts of Felony Theft and One Count of False Report.

The investigation into the Robbery of Marco’s Pizza on Tiny Town Road revealed that a robbery did not actually occur, but was an elaborate scheme concocted by one of the Marco’s employees, Kyle Dickson, along with an accomplice, Dillon Tatro.

Clarksville-Montgomery County Public Library offers Free Cooking Class this Saturday

 

Clarksville-Montgomery County Public LibraryMontgomery County, TN – The Clarksville-Montgomery County Public Library will be offering a free cooking class on Saturday, September 23rd from 10:00am to 12:00pm.

This is a program for the whole family to learn how to prepare simple healthy snacks and quick meals. The class is part of an ongoing cooking series that the library is offering.

Clarksville-Montgomery County area TDOT Maintenance Work starting September 21st, 2017

 

Tennessee Department of Transportation - TDOTNashville, TN – The Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT) reports that in Montgomery County resurfacing on Madison Street (SR 112) from Richview Road (SR 374) to University Avenue (L.M. 9.44-L.M. 13.66) will start Sunday, September 24th and end Wednesday, September 27th, from 6:00pm until 6:00am.

There will be a temporary lane closure on Madison Street to perform milling and paving operations.

Austin Peay State University Sports - APSU - Governors - Lady GovsClarksville, TN – Austin Peay State University football team sophomore quarterback JaVaughn Craig has been named the Copies in a Flash APSU Athlete of the Week.

The Chattanooga native led Austin Peay to its first win of the Will Healy era with four rushing scores in a 69-13 drubbing of Morehead State, Saturday.

In addition to an efficient 8-for-12 passing night for 118 yards, Craig rushed nine times for 37 yards and four touchdowns, the most by a Governor since Chris Fletcher in 2006.

Gunpo South Korea delegation makes Sister City visit to Clarksville

 

City of Clarksville welcomes South Korean visitors

City of Clarksville - Clarksville, TNClarksville, TN – An 11-person delegation from Gunpo, South Korea, recently completed a Sister City visit to the City of Clarksville that included tours of City facilities, a local factory and visits to RiverFest and local entertainment venues.

In 1999, Gunpo and Clarksville both approved an agreement establishing a Sister City relationship, designed to expand cultural understanding and cooperation.
