Clarksville, TN – Area vocalists are invited to sing in a community choir presentation of the Christmas portion of Handel’s Messiah at Madison Street United Methodist Church on Sunday, December 17th, 2017 at 7:00pm.
The event is free and open to the public.
The choir will be conducted by Rev. Jared Wilson, senior associate pastor at the church and adjunct professor of music at Austin Peay State University.
Last year was the first time a community choir performed the piece since the 1999 tornado demolished the church building.
A brief rehearsal will be held at the church prior to the performance. Vocalists who wish to sing may contact sears@creativeinktn.com for more information about rehearsal times and attire.
