Jeremiah Oatsvall
Jeremiah Oatsvall improved on his Ohio Valley Conference Freshman of the Year award with another strong recognition. The Dalton, GA native also led APSU with eight touchdowns including finding paydirt for six consecutive games to end the season. Tanner picked up his first multi-score performance with two touchdowns in the season finale win over Eastern Illinois.
Kordell Jackson
Kordell Jackson earned his way onto the HERO Sports All-Freshman Honorable Mention list as well thanks to a solid rookie campaign in Clarksville. Jackson, a native of Birmingham, AL, saw action in all 12 games this season, notching 42 tackles and 6.0 tackles for loss. It is rare for a cornerback to make an impact in the backfield, but Jackson picked up 3.0 sacks – third most for the Govs.
