Clarksville, TN – Clarksville Gas and Water is repairing a water main leak on Idaho Springs and has turned off water service on all roads south of Dunbar Cave Road between Hay Market Road and Kimberly Drive.
The water outage will affect roads and streets surrounding Idaho Springs, Wingate Drive and Kimberly Drive areas including Hay Market Road, Dunbar Dell Road, Front Street, Woodstock Lane, Cornwell Road, New Castle Road, Acuff Road, Idlewood Road, Stratford Way, Fairway-Wingate Drive, Hyde Park and Waterloo Drive.
The aforementioned vicinity may also be affected by low water pressure during the repair work.
A section of Idaho Springs Road is also closed from Hay Market Road and Dunbar Cave Road; however, local traffic may pass.
The repair is anticipated to be finished, water service restored and the road reopened by approximately 8:00am or 9:00am.
