Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office announces Employee Promotions

Montgomery County Sheriff's Office - MCSOClarksville, TN – The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office would like to recognize the following employees who were recently promoted.

Lieutenant John Stone has been promoted to the rank of Captain of the Administration and Professional Standards Bureau. Stone started with the Sheriff’s Office in 1992. In 2006 he was promoted to an Investigator, in 2010 to Sergeant, and in 2013 to Lieutenant. Stone also serves on the Emergency Service Unit as a certified bomb technician.

MCSO Lieutenant Martin Pierce

Lieutenant Martin Pierce has been promoted to the rank of Captain of the Detention Services Bureau. Pierce started with the Sheriff’s Office in 1991. In 2004 he was promoted to Sergeant and in 2013 to Lieutenant.

Sergeant Harold Stilts has been promoted to the rank of Lieutenant of the Custody Division. Stilts started with the Sheriff’s Office in 1994. In 1997 he was promoted to Corporal and in 2000 to Sergeant.

Corporal Jaclynn Summerville has been promoted to the rank of Sergeant in the Intake Unit. Summerville started with the Sheriff’s Office in 2009. In 2012 she was promoted to Corporal.
