Clarksville Police reports Juvenile apprehended for Two Counts of Aggravated Robbery

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – The Clarksville Police Department reports a 16 year old male juvenile committed two aggravated robberies at gas station/convenience stores on Monday, January 15th, 2018. The first robbery occurred around 2:27am at the 600 block of Lafayette Road.

The juvenile walked in the store, displayed a handgun, and told the clerk to open the register. He took money from the register along with three boxes of cigars and then fled the scene in a pickup truck.

In less than a half hour later, the same juvenile committed a second robbery at the 600 block of Tiny Town Road.

He went inside of the business, paid for fuel, filled up the vehicle, and then went back inside, pointed a handgun at the clerk and asked for money. The juvenile was given money and left the scene.

Police were able to identify the suspect and sent a be on the lookout alert for the vehicle and juvenile.

The vehicle was spotted and stopped in Oak Grove, KY. He is currently awaiting extradition back to Clarksville where he will be served with juvenile petitions for Two Counts of Aggravated Robbery.

The lead investigator is Detective Sacco.
