Nashville, TN – Austin Peay State University men’s tennis team could not keep their momentum going from its last match, succumbing to Vanderbilt, Saturday, in Nashville.
The Govs (1-5) looked to build off of its win in their most recent outing at Southern Indiana.
They found it difficult from the offset as Vandy (7-2) won both doubles matches that finished, and were ahead in the final doubles match.
Vandy then won the remaining singles matches, all in straight sets.
Austin Peay continues its roadtrip next Friday at Dayton, followed by another match next Saturday at IUPUI.
