Clarksville-Montgomery County area TDOT Maintenance Work starting March 15th, 2018

Tennessee Department of Transportation - TDOTNashville, TN – The Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT) reports that in Montgomery County there will be grading, drainage, construction of welded steel plate girder bridge, retaining wall and paving on Highway 149 and Highway 13 from River Road to Zinc Plant Road continuing daily from 9:00am until 3:00pm.

There will be temporary lane closure with flagging operations on Highway 13 for construction of new haul road.

Resurfacing On I-24 From SR 6 To The I-40 Westbound Ramps & Bridge Rehab On I-24 Over Spring Street & Oldham Street

Nightly from 8:00pm until 5:00am, there will be alternating lane closures on Spring Street for cleaning of the bridge. One lane will remain open.

Nightly from 8:00pm until 5:00am, there will alternating lane closures on I-24 in both directions to complete parapets at Spring Street bridge and begin paving binder. One lane will remain open in each direction.

On Friday, March 15th through Wednesday, March 21st, from 9:00pm until 5:00am, as weather permits, TDOT crews will be milling and paving for pothole repair on I-24 eastbound at MM 52 (Murfreesboro Road). Check smartway.tn.gov for congestion info and traffic cameras.

Looking Ahead, on Friday, April 13th, 8:00pm through Monday, April 16th, 6:00am, – I-24 will be closed from the I-24/I-40 split to the I-65 split.
