Clarksville’s Commercial Installation Awarded Incumbent Worker Training Grant

American Job CenterClarksville, TN – Commercial Installation LLC, located in Clarksville, TN was awarded $9,605.00 for an Incumbent Worker Training grant (IWT). Commercial Installation provides craftsmanship quality installation of architectural openings for all types of buildings all over the Mid-South.

Founded in 1999 by Richard Eskildson (Commercial Installation President), we have built our business from the ground up on the foundation of integrity and quality work.

Owner John Eskildson stated, “Grants like this are critical for us to continue the growth of our business through better training opportunities for our employees. Our company emphasizes hiring Veterans to join our workforce because of the immense talent they bring to the team. This specialized training allows us to better prepare them for work in the Commercial Door and Glass industry.”

The Department of Labor and Workforce Development offers eligible TN Employers competitive grant funding to provide skills upgrades for existing workers or train new hires as an incentive to grow their business.

The Incumbent Worker Training Program (IWT) is a competitive grant that provides funding to help eligible Tennessee businesses effectively train and retain employees by providing skills upgrades and process improvement training for existing, full-time employees, while the Apprenticeship Training Grant (ATG) supports Tennessee employers that are interested in starting an apprenticeship program or are already authorized providers of the Registered Apprenticeship Program through US/DOL – Office of Apprenticeships.
