Clarksville Police Department applications for TEEN Citizens Police Academy available now

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – The Clarksville Police Department has announced that applications are available for the upcoming Clarksville TEEN Citizens Police Academy (TCPA) class. The class will start on July 23rd, 2018, and end on July 27th, 2018 (Monday to Friday).

Classes are from 9:00am to 2:30pm.

Candidates must be in the 7th grade up to the 12th grade (Senior in High School).

The TCPA is a one week program that covers Police/TEEN specific subject matter, such as; school violence/bullying, crime scene information, use of force information (Taser), the Explorer Program, BOMB Squad, jail, 911 operations, TACT team, K-9 information, traffic crash information, and more.

The class is free of charge, and you can pick up and drop off your application at Clarksville Police Headquarters at 135 Commerce Street marked attention Officer Gregory Granderson.

Additionally, after completion of the application, you can return it via email to gregory.granderson@cityofclarksville.com
