Clarksville-Montgomery County area TDOT Work starting July 12th, 2018

Nashville, TN – The Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT) reports that in Montgomery County the widening of SR 374 (Warfield Boulevard) from South of Dunbar Cave Road to West of Stokes Road will take place Friday, July 13th, 2018 through Wednesday, July 18th, from 9:00am-3:30pm.

There will be intermittent road closures on Warfield Boulevard, between Dunbar Cave Road and Stokes Road, for pre-split blasting. All traffic will be halted during the blasting process until all debris is removed from roadway.

Montgomery County

SR 149 and SR 13 Grading, Drainage, and Construction of Bridge, Retaining Wall and Paving from River Road to Zinc Plant Road
On Friday, July 13th through Wednesday July 18th, from 9:00am-3:00pm, there will be periodic flagging operations along SR 13 and SR 149 for clearing operations.

Cheatham-Robertson-Davidson Counties

I-24 Resurfacing
On Thursday, July 12th through Wednesday, July 18th, from 8:00pm-6:00am, there will be nightly lane closures on I-24 in both directions, between mile markers 24 and 37, for milling and paving operations. Tennessee State Troopers will be utilized for traffic control.

Davidson County

I-40 Resurfacing from Cheatham County Line to US 70S (SR 1)
On Thursday, July 12th and Sunday, July 15th through Wednesday, July 18th, from 8:00pm-5:00am, there will be alternating lane closures on I-40 in both directions, between mile markers 191 and 196, for paving and thin epoxy overlay on bridge decks. One lane will remain open in each direction.

On Friday, July 13th, 8:00pm through Monday, July 16th, 5:00am (continuous), there will be temporary lane closures on I-40 in both directions, between mile markers 191 and 196, for thin epoxy overlay on bridge decks. One lane will remain open.

Dickson-Williamson County

I-40 East Construction of Truck Climbing Lane near Mile Marker 180
On Thursday, July 12th through Wednesday, July 18th, 24/7, there will be a temporary shoulder closure on I-40 East, between mile markers 180 and 183, in order to construct a new truck climbing lane.

Hickman County

I-40 Bridge Repair over State Route 230
On Thursday, July 12th through Wednesday, July 18th, 24/7, there will be a temporary shoulder closure on I-40 in both directions, between mile markers 151 and 153, in order to widen the bridges over SR 230.

 

Robertson County

On-Call Pavement Markings on Various Interstates and State Routes
On Thursday, July 12th through Wednesday, July 18th, from 9:00pm-5:00am, there will be temporary lane closures with a moving operation on I-65, between mile markers 110 and 120, in order to restripe the mainline.

New Interchange Construction on I-65 at SR 109
Now through July 2018 (continuous), The inside lane of I-65 North will be closed, between mile markers 118 and 121, for removal of existing median wall and construction of new overhead signs. Two lanes will remain open in each direction.

On Friday, July 13th through Saturday, July 14th, from 9:00am-3:00pm, there will be a temporary lane closure on SR 109 for paving operations. One lane will remain open.
