Austin Peay State University Athletics adds Tyler Davis, Haley Jacobi, Stefan Nolet to staff

Austin Peay State University Sports - APSU - Governors - Lady GovsClarksville, TN – Austin Peay State University’s athletics department has hired three new members to its administrative staff this month. Tyler Davis will head the department’s digital media unit, Haley Jacobi joins the department’s academics unit, and Stefan Nolet its communications staff.

Davis, an Omaha, Nebraska native, will lead the department’s digital media efforts after completing a year as Liberty University’s fan experience and promotions assistant. He moved up the ranks within the Flames’ fan experience and promotions office, starting as an intern before taking over as the senior intern while earning his bachelor’s degree in sports management in 2017.

While with Liberty, Davis developed and designed the athletics department’s social media strategy and assisted in the design of various marketing materials. He also assisted with the department’s development strategy, helping the Flames Club see a significant increase in membership.

Jacobi, of Scottsdale, Arizona, becomes the newest member of the athletics academics unit and will work with volleyball, women’s track and field and spirit squads. In addition, she will serve as the department’s coordinator of community service. Jacobi joins APSU after two seasons at Texas A&M-Corpus Christi where she worked with women’s soccer and softball teams while also coordinating the Islanders Life Skills curriculum.

A 2013 graduate of with a bachelor’s degree in business administration, Jacobi was a member of the Horned Frogs equestrian team. She completed a graduate assistantship with the South Carolina athletics development unit, earning a master’s degree in sport entertainment and management in 2015.

Nolet, a Houston, Texas native joins the Governors athletics communications staff as its football contact after six seasons as the media relations director of the Independence Bowl Foundation in Shreveport, Louisiana. While with the Independence Bowl he was the primary spokesperson, was responsible for official publications and led the bowl’s game-day operations. Nolet also led the Independence Bowl social media strategy, seeing a quadrupling of its social media following.

Nolet began his career as an intern and graduate at Oklahoma State where he earned his bachelor’s degree in 2011. He later earned a master’s degree in education from East Texas Baptist.
